SolidCraft CAD Guide publishes a small number of guest posts and sponsored guides alongside our own SolidCraft tutorials. Our readers are makers, students and engineers learning open-source CAD (about 14,000 visitors a week), so the best articles help them design, export or make something.
Topics we accept
- CAD and CAM workflows, including SolidCraft, FreeCAD and other parametric modelers
- 3D printing: slicing, materials, printers, print services and design-for-printing tips
- File formats and interoperability (STEP, STL, 3MF, DXF)
- AI-assisted design, CAD scripting and automation
- Maker hardware, electronics enclosures and small-batch manufacturing
What we look for
- Original and practical: real steps, screenshots or numbers, written for someone trying to get a job done. 800 words or more.
- Accurate: we check every claim and may edit for clarity.
- One or two relevant links to your site or product. Links in guest posts and sponsored guides are marked as sponsored.
- No casino, adult, loan or other off-topic content.
How to pitch
Email hello [at] solidcraftcad.com with a working title, a three-line outline and links to one or two things you have written. We reply to every pitch, usually within a few days, with whether it fits and our current rates for sponsored placements.
